Young Frontier w/ The Way Ways
Young Frontier is an original Americana band from Boston, MA. Formed in 2015 by guitarist singer/songwriter Joe Young; mandolinist and electric guitarist Dan King; and cellist Bethany Weiman. Pulling influences from Folk, Rock, and Country, the band has tailored their signature sound: alternating gritty and glassy instrumentals, tight harmonies, and Joes honest and powerful voice.
Boston-area band The Way Ways whose four members grew up together in southern Massachusetts recorded their EP, Caramel, during a week-long session in a little house in Putney, Vermont. Self-proclaimed gear nerds, the releases five tracks are shrewdly made, with strong, Walkmen-like melodies that sound full and warm.
