Sacramento Baroque Soloists present "Voice of the Cello"
In this perennial favorite concert, Sacramento Baroque Soloists' cellists perform a selection of rich, dark, and sonorous Baroque Cello Sonatas. Dark, rich, and sonorous, and also bright, sweet, and expressive, the cello is the most versatile of instruments. In this perennial favorite concert, Sacramento Baroque Soloists' cellists Michael Lawson and John Lutterman are joined by our bassoonist David Wells to perform a selection of Baroque Cello Sonatas, accompanied by a continuo section of harpsichord, organ, and guitar.
