KCS 2019-20 Season Subscription
This year's three full-choir concert programs promise to surprise, delight, and move you:
Dec. 7 (7:30p) & 8 (3p), 2019: CELESTIAL LIGHTS
Our beloved holiday concerts feature the final two cantatas of J.S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio, plus contemporary choral delights focusing on the guiding light of sun, moon, and stars. Highlights in addition to the spectacular music:
> Again joined by our orchestra partner, Philharmonia Northwest
> The magic of Bastyr Chapel during the holidays
> The Lake Washington High School choir will again sing with us to cap off the evening.
No wonder these holiday concerts have become a favorite annual tradition for so many!
Feb. 22 (7:30p) & 23 (3p), 2019: TRUE COLORS: SONGS OF COMMUNITY & LOVE
Join KCS and friends for a timely celebration of community and love. Complimentary chocolate and wine are a bonus feature of this joyful event - due to the fun and music, it's become a second annual tradition for many!
April 18, 2020 (2p): BEETHOVEN'S 250TH
KCS and Philharmonia Northwest join forces to celebrate Beethoven's 250th anniversary, featuring the glorious Mass in C, as well as the Seattle Premiere of Jake Runestads striking Beethoven tribute: A Silence Haunts Me.
While those pieces alone would make for a spectacular concert, you will also thrill to Beethoven's triumphant Choral Fantasy with world-renowned pianist Craig Sheppard as soloist. Mr. Sheppard has performed with many of the world's major symphony orchestras, including Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Seattle just in the US.
This will be a most remarkable, standout concert in this noteworthy Beethoven anniversary year.
Capture every moment of this stunning year, along with the savings and convenience of season tickets!
