BACH AND HANDEL, March 13, 2020
The pinnacle of Baroque music. A collage of Bach's chorale, cantata, and instrumental concerto is paired with selections from Handel's final oratorio, "The Triumph of Time and Truth". The oratorio tells the tale of Beauty being enticed by Pleasure and Deceit while Time and Truth struggles to advise her against temptations. To whom will Beauty adhere to?
