Shay Salhov Quartet/ Alon Nechushtan Quartet at Art Boutiki
A twin bill of jazz groups comes to Art Boutiki
Headlining will be Shay Salhov with his always inventive Quartet, this time featuring Dahveed Behroozi and Jason Lewis.
Opening the night will be a quartet put together by NYC based piano player Alon Nechushtan. All About Jazz magazine called Alon A fantastic pianist-composer with abundant chemistry and boundless eclectisism, while DownBeat Magazine recognizes A talent to watch, with a surfeit of ideas, an unbridled spirit and bold,two-fisted sense of Architecture.
Backin up Alon will be Tyler Harlow and Dillon Vado of Never Weather fame.
