Studies N Blackness: Bodies On 'View-Doo'
Margaret Morris's piece, "I am another yourself," is a rigorous dance theater duet in which the characters are sisters, lovers, rivals, and reflections. Their precarious friendship shifts between states of conflict and intimacy activated by their recurrent play with the transmutation of a kiss. Choreographed and performed by former LinkUp and Chicago Dancemakers Forum artist Margaret Morris, with Onome from Brooklyn, NY.

"Nikki Patin's Secret: The Most Beautiful Boogieman" is a cappella, multi-genre piece that combines spoken word, song, and burlesque. Patin's performance is based on Mos Def's composition "The Boogieman Song." Nikki Patin was featured on the fourth season of HBOs Def Poetry Jam and is a contributor to 848 on NPR.
