Studies N Blackness: Rythmic Hoodoo
A live visual media and ambient musical experience led by internationally acclaimed DJ, electric sound, and multimedia artist Daniel Givens (NYC), reuniting legendary members of Age Ensemble, founded by Givens in the late 90s. This event coincides with the official release of "Egress," Givens' latest album on Aesthetic Records.

Collaborators will include avant garde jazz artist, creative flutist, composer, and bandleader Nicole Mitchell (Black Earth Ensemble, AACM) playing all three nights; other collaborators vary each night: guitarist Jeff Parker (Tortoise, Isotope 217), cellist Fred Lonberg-Holm (Flying Luttenbachers), bassist Josh Abrams (Town and Country), and vocalists Glenda Baker and Seth Hisky.
