Documentary Synopsis
THE QUEENS OF BINGO tells the unlikely story of how a hair dresser, a couple drag queens and the classic game of bingo became a recipe for community magic.
While it has not always been laughs and giggles for this misfit crews personal life yet, they have brought together a community, about 60 miles south of San Francisco, that is not known for its LGBTQ+ culture.
It swung the closet door wide open and gathers a room filled to capacity every wednesday night to perform a live theater game show experience to a diverse crowd.
The Queens of Bingo makes for a meaningful story because it triumphs over adversity and welcomes EVERYONE regardless of sexual age, race, religion, political background or sexual orientation.
