The Art of Not Wrestling: a Seminar for Non-Wrestling Roles and Performers with Bryce Remsburg
COLLEGE PARK, MD. Flying V is proud to present: A Seminar for Non-Wrestling Roles and Performers with AEW & Chikara Pro Wrestling Referee, Bryce Remsburg, as a guest instructor to teach a 2-Hour Workshop, The Art of Not Wrestling, from 3-5pm on September 14th, at the Leah M. Smith Recital Hall in The Clarice at the University of Maryland-College Park!
The Society of Seminar Solidarity tour continues with All Elite Wrestling and Chikara Referee BRYCE REMSBURG! The performance of Professional Wrestling goes for further than just the combatants. Non-Wrestling roles like Referees, Managers, Commentators, Ring Announcers and more are essential for the success, structure, and enjoyment of a Professional Wrestling show. Bryce Remsburg has been in the Wrestling industry for over 15 years, and recently had an apex performance as the referee for a match between two invisible men for Game Changer Wrestling that became a viral sensation. For two hours Bryce will share his expertise and lead a conversation on getting involved in Wrestling as a non-wrestling performer - from practical business elements, to etiquette, to making yourself indispensable, to the tips and tricks of each of these roles as a performer. Whether interested in getting involved for the first time, or looking to increase your knowledge and skills, this seminar is for you!
From Bryce: "Despite my lifelong love of pro wrestling, I knew an in-ring career wasnt for me. But that didnt stop me from getting involved. Over the past 17 years, I have been lucky enough to referee over 3,000 matches in 150 promotions in 30 states and 6 countries and share rings & locker rooms with future WrestleMania main eventers. Ive been in just about every plausible situation one can be in, and worn every hat in the wrestling world one can wear without actually wrestling a match. These non-physical and behind-the-curtain jobs are often overlooked and low priority for promoters; well talk about how to change that for you. Well take a deep dive, with on-the-spot constructive criticism and feedback and discuss ways in which you can make yourself indispensable. There will also be high fives. I promise. "
