Great Music on Sundays @5 presents WE HEARD IT AT THE MOVIES
Paul Bisaccia & John Thomas, piano duo
A piano duo for more than a decade, Bisaccia & Thomas perform beautiful and thrilling music from classic cinema including Atonement, Cinema Paradiso, The Godfather, The Hours, North by Northwest, Psycho, Star Wars, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Wizard of Oz and more by composers Elmer Bernstein, Philip Glass, Bernard Herrmann, Dario Marianelli, Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, John Williams and others. The program includes performances of classical music used in films by Debussy, Liszt and Saint-Saëns. The concert features a simultaneous live widescreen projection of the pianists hands on the Steinway grand piano.
