jenifer jackson trio featuring Jon Notarthomas & Jason Mercer
Jenifer Jackson has toured the world on the strength of her 11 solo albums. She has been featured on NPR All Things Considered, World Cafe Live and Mountain Stage. Jackson has collaborated with Pat Sansone (Wilco), Greg Wiczoreck (Norah Jones), Paul Bryan (Aimee Mann), Oren Bloedow (Meshell Ndegeocello) and Nate Walcott (Bright Eyes). Syracuse Native, and current Austin resident Jon Notarthomas is a noted musician and band leader. He toured for many years with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Ian Mclagan of Faces and Small Faces. Canadian mulit-instrumentalist Jason Mercer rounds out the trio. He also tours often with Ton Sexsmith.
