- Hilde Domin
Hilde Domin is a German-Jewish poet who lived in exile from Nazi Germany for 22 years. Her poems address themes of exile and loss, hope and reconciliation, while affirming the wonder and beauty of life. In Germany she is considered one of the great poets of the twentieth century. Deborah Langstaff had the privilege of getting to know and befriend Hilde while living in Europe. She loved these songs of her poems and encouraged her to make this CD.
