45th Street Brass with Miles & Ebony Harris
45th St Brass brings their unique brand of funk/soul/brass to one Bellingham's new instant classics: The Firefly Lounge . Some of the best horn section players in the region combined with the powerful vocals of Annie Jantzer deliver a beat-driven dance set that draws from a wide variety of influences. Both the band and and its individual members (and alumni) have an impressive resume of collaborations, one that continues to grow and evolve the group's sound. While the music comes from many places, the band wishes to pay homage and respect to the music and city of New Orleans (past, present and beyond) in their art.
Opening are Miles & Ebony Harris. You may know Miles as the guitarist to Babycakes, one of the many fantastic examples of what the Bellingham music scene has to offer.
