First Event: Vivaldi's The Four Seasons at the Baroque Café.
Thursday, July 25 - 5 PM at David's Folly Farm, Brooksville.
A multi-media performance, with the Blue Hill Bach period instrument ensemble, plus Noel Paul Stookey reading the original sonnets in English translation.
Second Event: Intimate Strangers: Vivaldi & Bach.
Saturday, July 27th - 7:30 PM at The Blue Hill Congregational Church, Blue Hill.
Blue Hill Bach's period instrument ensemble performs Vivaldi's Concerto for 4 Violins, followed by Bach's Wedding Cantata BWV 202. The program will finish with Bach's joyous Mass in G Major.
Third Event: Bach's St John Passion.
Sunday, July 28 - 7:30 PM at The Blue Hill Congregational Church, Blue Hill.
The Blue Hill Bach orchestra, chorus, and soloists perform one of the greatest oratorios of all time, J.S. Bach's St. John Passion.
