Acoustic Crush Sessions hosted by Sapphire Notion
Sapphire Notion are an acousticrock/blues/soul inspired duo from Edinburgh. Jade Shields and Chris Sheering have been writing and performing together since early 2016. Initially with just acoustic guitar, they now craft music with depth and layers using live looped acoustic and electric guitars and keyboards. In their first hear they played in the Edinburgh Fringe, Oxjam Takeover, at Street Food Festivals in Glasgow and Edinburgh and have played live sessions on various radio stations. Their debut single "Nothing More" places at number 2 in the Scottish New Music Chart and they are currently finishing their debut EP as well as having just finished a UK tour.
Their songs are honest and intimate that draw inspiration from Jeff Buckley, Tracy Chapman and Stevie Nicks amongst others.
