Mother's Day with Nancy & Rachelle Garniez, presented by TWEED.
This show is part of "Sundays @ Seven", a series presented by TWEED Theater Works, Kevin Malony artistic director.
Pianist Nancy Garniez and her daughter, vocalist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist Rachelle Garniez celebrate Mother's Day at Pangea with a very special duo concert.
The program will include gems by Brecht/Weill, Mozart, Scott Joplin, and others, as well as original compositions.
The New York Times has called Nancy's playing "Ardent, elegant and clean-textured" and Rachelle's story-songs "romantic, rhapsodic and casually hilarious".
They have performed together in New York at Weill Recital Hall and at the Neue Galeries Café Sabarsky, and in Vienna at the International Akkordeon Festival.
