Alexander's Feast by G. F. Handel
This rarely heard work by George Frideric Handel celebrates the power of music to transform the moods and passions of humankind. Set at a lavish banquet in the court of Alexander the Great, this ode to St. Cecilia was a consistent success during Handel's lifetime and continues to capture the hearts and minds of audiences through its drama and Handelian flair.
