Wine and Roses
7:30 p.m., Apr. 26, and 3:00 p.m., Apr. 27, The Old Church, 1422 SW 11th Ave, Portland.
The concert will center around Morten Lauridsen's Les Chansons des Roses (Songs for Roses), and will also include sets of flower songs from both Benjamin Britten and Eric Whitacre. We will also celebrate the vintner's craft with a variety of songs from Liszt, Rossini, Gilbert and Sullivan, and others. We also invite you to join us for an optional wine tasting reception following the Saturday evening concert.
