Path of Dreams World Premiere Free Screening in Los Angeles
In association with Eleven Arts and Japanese American National Museum, CHOPSO will hold a FREE Los Angeles premiere SCREENING of "Path of Dreams" directed by Tamara Ruppart and written by Velina Hasu Houston on Sunday April 28 at 4 pm at the Japanese American National Museum at 100 North Central Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90012.
"Path of Dreams" is a 30-min. short film that re-imagines the legend of Japanese poetess Ono no Komachi, who challenges the pompous Shosho to write poetry with her for 99 nights. Vowing to take him as her lover on the 99th night, our mystical beauty reveals the passion behind Komachi's most seductive and heartbreaking poetry.
Director Tamara Ruppart, Writer Velina Hasu Houston and Producer Ko Mori will join a Q&A after the screening.
"Path of Dreams" will also be streamed day-and-date worldwide on CHOPSO.
