| | EventCousin Bobby Bluegrass Record ReleaseCousin Bobby is a tight knit collection of high caliber bluegrass players. A rowdy band of hooligans ready to melt your face with harmonies, licks, and old-time music played like a freight train crashing through your living room. Formed in the smoldering ashes of local folk rockers The Lonesome Draw, this rosé-drenched collective of hardened pickers come prepared to make sure you go home satisfied. Well be playing the bluegrass music at our next family reunion. Scroll down to read up on us.
Nash Reilly  Dobro // Nash Reilly emerged from the wild west five years ago to make electronics and play the dobro in the big city. Hes been a noise ordinance violation in Somerville ever since. Nashs influences include Andy Hall, Jerry Douglas, Gene Wooten, and the next door neighbors Labrador.

Joe Kenneally  Guitar // Joe spent too many years wasting away playing jazz guitar. He was saved by the bluegrass gods about a decade ago and hasnt turned back. He sings too high and too loud. You can find him in the dead of night at Greyfox recommending we play Streamline Cannonball a fifth time.

Chris DAmore  Bass // A once reluctant player in the Boston bluegrass circle, Chris now willfully brings his hard-hitting rock influences into the fold. He still cant seem to lose the hair though. Youll find Chris insisting on wearing a hoodie to mostly every show.

Owen Miles  Banjo // Prior to Cousin Bobby, Owen was best known for his hardly-referenced publication in the Journal of Hydrology, investigating how little dribbles of water go through cracks in rock to become dribbles of water that push things around. His influences include Rage Against the Machine, BeyoncĂ©, and long, odd hours in cornfields and hay fields.
