The second in the so-called "Cornetto Trilogy," HOT FUZZ is a relentlessly funny homage to American buddy cop movies. Wright, Pegg and Frost bring us the story of Nicholas Angel (Pegg), a London cop who is so good he makes the rest of the force look bad. In retribution, he is transferred to a backwater town with the lowest crime rate in the country. Paired with an absolutely witless partner (Frost), Angel soon uncovers a number of suspicious deaths and embarks on a crusade to uncover the dark secret behind the peaceful berg of Sandford.
