The eminent flatpicking genius David Grier, longtime Doc Watson sideman Jack Lawrence, and Americana veteran Robbie Fulks team up for a guitar-fueled tribute to the music and mind of Doc Watson.
Since the death of the North Carolina musician in 2012, his unique legacy and place of honor in American culture have become clearer than ever. Docs ecumenical approach to repertoire, his warm storytellers voice, his deep humility and attachment to heritage and family, and, above all, his phenomenally fluent and boundary-breaking guitar picking make him a permanent hero to musicians of all genres and generations.
