ACOUSTIC GUITAR SHOWCASE: featuring New West, Eric Schoenberg and Jeff Traugott
In the intimate setting and superb acoustics of Old St. Hilary's Landmark in Tiburon, the renowned young trio New West will be joined by Eric Schoenberg and luthier Jeff Traugott for a memorable evening of music and conversation showcasing the acoustic guitar.
Featuring Jeff Stein, John Storie and Perry Smith (a Tiburon native), New West has been making their mark as a fresh, cutting-edge guitar ensemble. For this show they will be performing on the exquisite instruments crafted by Santa Cruz master luthier Jeff Traugott, who will be on hand to give a presentation about his guitars and guitar making. Opening the evening's music will be a rare performance by Tiburon guitar maker Eric Schoenberg who is a fine fingerstyle guitarist in his own right.
