Bemidji Symphony Orchestra presents the concert "Lincoln Portrait."
The Bemidji Symphony Orchestra (BSO) continues its 80th season, "Music Will Be Our Reply," with the concert "Lincoln Portrait." Featuring guests Sarah Hamrin, viola, and Sadie Hamrin, violin, Sunday afternoon, March 31, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Bemidji High School Auditorium. Dr. Beverly Everett conducts.
Copland's Lincoln Portrait names this concert. Sarah Hamrin and Sadie Hamrin, return to their hometown, performing Schindlers List and Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante. Also, enjoy Dorsey's Fanfare No. 1.
Doors open for seating at 2:30 pm.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota, through a grant from the Region 2 Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Thank you to Sanford Health for sponsoring a special Children's Concert performance for area youth.
