Taking A Chance starring Kevin Wood
Kevin Wood is a Chicago based cabaret performer with a background in musical theater. He previously appeared here in 2015 and returns with a new show entitled Taking A Chance that features a variety of music including standards from the Great American Songbook, Broadway, and some funny and original parodys. With Kevins knack for storytelling, hell interweave heart-warming stories, both real and fictional, that are both poignant and comedic, covering topics such as relationships, work, family, health, ageing, and retirement. His previous shows have received standing ovations at Davenports in Chicago, the Skokie Theatre in Skokie, and the Empire Stage in Ft. Lauderdale. Joining Kevin for Rolling The Dice will be local pianist, Joel Baker on the baby grand.
