"We're All in the Dance" - Songs of Love, Loss, and Merrymaking
Were All in the Dance, Songs of Love, Loss, and Merrymaking, Saturday, Sept 14, at 7:30 pm, First Presbyterian San Anselmo, 72 Kensington Rd 94960.
What do Purcell, Arbeau, "Anonymous," Wailin Jennys, and Fats Waller have in common? Come find out! Duets, quartets and more of exquisite Renaissance and Baroque music with Marin Baroque singers & friends: Linda Price (soprano), Monica Frame (alto), Carl Boe (tenor), and Fred Goff (bass). Accompanist is Melody Nishinaga. The program will be preceded by a set of songs by the guitar-and-vocals duo Firefly (Robin Truitt and Linda Price). Program will also include a few jazz songs or maybe a surprise or two.!
The concert will benefit MARIN BAROQUE. Tickets: $25/general, free for 18-and-under.
