Vocalist Taylor ODonnell and pianist Mike Effenberger join forces to explore a repertoire that extends across a range of styles. Digging deep into the theme Something to Live for, based on a beloved Billy Strayhorn tune, F and Taylor break down and piece back together songs that bridge the jazz and classical traditions to build a powerful musical dialogue. The concert will include works by Benjamin Britten, Samuel Barber, Billy Strayhorn, Joni Mitchell, Thelonious Monk, Taylor ODonnells original compositions, and much more.
