Quartet for the End of Time at Bethany Lutheran
Olivier Messiaen's masterpiece "Quartet for the End of Time", written in a POW internment camp and initially performed for prisoners, is a powerful end to the CCP's 25th season. Ervin Schulhoff, a Czech composer who died at the hand of the Nazis, will be represented with his Violin and Piano sonata, at the beginning of the concert.
With Andrew Cooperstock, Piano; Daniel Silver, Clarinet; Paul Primus, Violin; and Judith McIntyre, Cello.
