Rhode Island Roots: An Evening of New York Jazz Featuring Carol Sloane, Harry Allen and Friends
The Community Concert Series @ St. Michael's is bringing these world class musicians together for an unforgettable evening of jazz on Saturday, April 27, 7:30 P.M., at St. Michaels Church, 399 Hope St., Bristol, RI. Beautiful ballads and swinging tunes from the Great American Songbook are on the menu with one of Americas foremost jazz singers, Carol Sloane, from New York City. She will be joined by the renowned Harry Allen on the tenor sax, Mike Renzi on piano, Paul Del Nero on bass, and Vinny Pagano on drums. All have achieved national and international recognition and are coming together to celebrate their Rhode Island roots in a rare performance treat.
