Warrior Workout!

Designed to build well-rounded modern warriors, this class blends the best of martial arts and fitness with social justice.

Class is a full 2 hours, 7-9pm, every 1st & 3rd Tuesday. Warmup workout, core technique training, special topics and guest instructors, HIIT workout, cool down and closing discussion.

Progressive Martial Arts of SF (PMASF), the nonprofit school of social justice and self defense served the Bay Area and beyond out of its home neighborhood of SoMA since 1999. PMASF blends elements of sport, performance, practical, and tactical styles into traditional Korean, Japanese, and Filipino martial arts foundation alongside a modern study of social justice philosophy. Emphasis on functional movement and corrective exercise because health and injury prevention is also self-defense. We develop powerful, resourceful, ethical, and compassionate warriors and leaders.

This path to personal development builds confidence, discipline, and resilience is offered at Wicked Grounds Annex with a specific focus on kink, sex, poly, queer positivity, and consent culture. We will be exploring how this shifts our school culture and influences change in other communities,especially in the martial arts and kink.

Open to all levels and abilities. Modifications and technique alternatives are an integral part of the system.

INSTRUCTOR:
Master Fox (they/he/she) is the founder of Progressive Martial Arts SF, the school of social justice & self-defense training serving SOMA and San Francisco since 1999. Activist, athlete, academic, actor, stunt coordinator, gender and disability advocate, health/sex educator, and erotic arts performer. 30+ years in the martial arts, and certified NASM, CrossFit, and Corrective Exercise trainer. Fox can be seen performing at events such as Twisted Windows, Skirt Club, and Bondage-A-Go-Go, and enjoys collaborating with partner Mx Davey Faye and other local performers/educators.
