Red Fish Blue Fish is the resident percussion ensemble at UCSD led by Steve Schick. Program to include: Marimba Phase Steve Reich, Third Construction John Cage, ...having never written a note for percussion... James Tenney, dust into dust John Luther Adams, unchained melody David Lang, Popol Vuh by Jeff Trevio with video by Ross Karre, and kein thema Marianthi Papalexandri-alexandri. Pre-concert talk with Steve Schick 7pm.
