4th Annual Great Midwest Ukefest
The Chicago Ukulele Cabaret is back with its 4th Annual Festival! Part curated showcase and part open-mic, this fest expands the cabaret show, allowing everyone to participate while showcasing several regular acts in full sets.
The afternoon will feature an extended open mic session and the curated evening portion will include full sets from perennial cabaret favorites such as Heavy Boxes, Jeffrey Weisfeld Combo, Tin Pan Sally and the Saddle Sores, Discarded Pearls, and Vic Miguel and Friends.
This is the one CUC event each year with an entry fee ($10 advance, $12 at the door), but its for a good cause! Proceeds this year will again benefit The Intonation Music Workshop-a local non-profit organization providing band-based music education to children in Chicago's under-served neighborhoods
All are welcome to perform during our afternoon open mic segment from 2:30-6:30 PM.
