Corazon Flamenco: Mojacar Flamenco in Concert
Join the phenomenal Los Angeles-based Mojacar Flamenco at the ECCT Theatre on August 16th for the flamenco duet concert, Corazon Flamenco, featuring guitar virtuoso Stephen Dick and dance dynamo Katerina Toms.
Eight time winners of the prestigious Spanish Ministry of Culture award, both artists have also received L.A. Treasures Awards from the City of Los Angeles for their performances and research in the field of flamenco. Flamenco has taken the duo across the U.S. and Canada on tour, and they have performed in competition and on Spanish television in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Their concerts have garnered praise from all quarters, including a review from the San Diego Union that called the duet a "kind of visual poetry."
