Dave Cooper: Quad
On Friday, March 29, 2019 at 8pm, Dave Cooper and Quad perform all original music at ArtLitLab. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Student tickets $5 off with a valid school ID. Advance ticket sales end 1 hour before the show. Doors open at 7:30pm.
Quad: having or composed of four items or elements. Quad: a style of Belgian beer that is 10% or more alcohol content. In this context Quad is: Dave Cooper on trumpet, Jonathan Greenstein on saxophone, John Christensen on bass, and Devin Drobka on drums. This ensemble seeks to work in subtleties and intricacies and expand each members typical musical roles. Compositional influences come from Oliver Messiaen, Mark Turner, Tom Harrell and Alex Sipiagin.
