Traditional Music with a Modern Twist at AMC @ UCC / AMC2019
GWC Trad Band is a nine-piece band playing Scottish and traditional music with a vibrant, modern twist. They will perform a range of different tunes old and new - airs, reels and jigs - including Friday the 13th (Adam Sutherland) and Chasing Daylight (Gary Innes). As well as an exciting set from our piper, the band will also accompany guest singers who will be singing Scottish songs such as Caledonia. The band features traditional instruments - accordion, fiddle, whistle and bagpipes - and a rhythm section with bass, acoustic guitar, drumkit and piano. With guest performers too.
