Spring Fling Boot Camp & Roller Disco
Muddy River Rollers Lumbersmacks are enthusiastically inviting roller derby athletes from near and far to come to take part in our 1 day Spring Fling Boot Camp!
This 1-day boot camp will be Smack" packed with training, tips, tricks and action! There will be 2 different skill level training sessions followed by 2 different skill level scrimmages. You can choose to do just the training or do both. There will be a coaches corner training as well as a Referee session. The day will be concluded by a fabulous evening of Roller Disco! What better way to end an action-packed day than to enjoy a nice relaxing skate to some great tunes and some dazzling lights!
All athletes participating in the Boot Camp and scrimmage portion of this event MUST be insured by CRDi as well as certified for contact by their home league. Athletes can find more details on the event page provided by Muddy River Rollers through Facebook.
Scrimmages are open for public viewing with a monetary donation of your choice to later be donated by MRR to the Sackville food bank.
-$25 Training
Limited to 40 participants in beginner level ( 0 to 10 games ) co-ed
Limited to 40 participants in advanced level ( 11+ games )
-$5 Scrimmage
Limited to 30 participants in beginner level ( 0 to 10 games ) co-ed
Limited to 30 participants in advanced level ( 11+ games )
-$ Donation for the general public to watch scrimmages
Beginner scrimmage @ 3 pm
Advance scrimmage featuring the Lumbersmacks @ 4 pm
Roller Disco @ 7 pm - 9 pm
-$10 Roller Disco
Roller Disco is also open to the general public which includes skate rentals for those of you that don't have skates on hand. Skates for rent for roller disco purposes are first come first served basis. If you plan on renting skates please only pay at the door. Online ticket orders for the roller disco are for people who already own skates.
-$5 Coach clinic
All the money collected will go directly to the coaches! (Happening during training)
-$5 Referee clinic
All the money collected will go directly to the refs! (Happening during training)
-$10 Off Skate
Watch and learn from the training camp.
