Mike Baggetta/100 and Zero/16 Hundred Pound Pig at the Howland . . .
Elysium Furnace Works and the Howland Cultural Center, Beacon's premier Arts and Entertainment venue, are pleased to present Mike Baggetta/100 and Zero/16 Hundred Pound Pig. Called a 'NY Guitar poet" by Wilco guitarist Nels Cline and "beguilingly atmospheric" by Time Out New York, the inimitable guitarist Baggetta leads a truly one-of-a-kind trio featuring the punk rock legend, Minutemen/fIREHOSE bassist, Mike Watt and drummer Stephen Hodges (Tom Waits, Mavis Staples, T Bone Burnett, David Lynch, among many others), unleashing an utterly unique post-genre improvisational musical experience. Two of the toughest Hudson Valley rock bands, 100 and Zero/16 Hundred Pound Pig, round out this triple-heavyweight slug fest. Advance tickets: $15 at mikebaggetta.brownpapertickets.com; at the door, $20. Please note: advance ticket sale ends on Friday, March 29th at 12:00 PM.
