Mike Vowels: Return to Paradise A Skiers Journey
Inspirational film in partnership with Filmmaker John Plummer, that documents former freestyle champion return to skiing 28 years after a paralyzing in ski accident in 1985. The film echoes unbridled faith, story of a skier setting out and taking on the challenge of reclaiming his place in skiing and rekindling a love of sport, that was all but lost. Viewers will be inspired and uplifted; while experiencing moments of laughter and tears. The film includes inspiring storytelling of the power of community, with some sweet historic ski footage. Mike will be present to share his story and answer questions.
Mike Vowels was introduced to snow skiing at age 13, discovered his true passion, and learned that he held a great athletic potential just waiting to be realized; a fire had been lit. He went on to having a successful and innovative ski career at a young age, with particularly trend setting aerial ski acrobatics.
