On My Own Power Records on California 14ers - Ryan Tetz
Ryan Tetz, long time Eastside resident and medical professional, is an accomplished endurance athlete, mountain guide, and climber. Come hear Ryan share for the first time locally, stories from the trail from his most recent pursuits, and his memorable and heartwarming background getting to where he is today.
Ryan has recently focused on testing his endurance limits by combining both biking and peak bagging link ups crossing the highest peaks in California, human powered. September 2018, he attempted a new Fastest Known Time (FKT) record finishing all the California 14,000 foot summits in a little over 8 days an all around epic memorably adventure. Some of the wilder moments are about as far out there as Ive been on my own! Ryan also holds the current time for fastest human powered ascent from the lowest to highest points in the USA from Badwater, Death Valley to the Mount Whitney summit among other enduro accomplishments.
