Songwriters in the Round - PDX
Songwriter Jonie Blinman here! The vision to bring my listening room concert series, Songwriters in the Round to Portland has captured the heart of the songwriting community here and I couldnt be more ecstatic to share these magical evenings to come with you! SITR is a place where songwriters can connect with their fans in an intimate listening room environment where the audience is passionate about hearing the craft, raw and unfiltered; often times a place where theyll be the first to hear new material.
Songwriters in the Round has always developed a fan base for the series itself, songwriters and fans returning show after show to discover artists theyve never seen while enjoying their favorites. SITR is a place where songwriters can connect with other local and national touring songwriters, build community, collaboration, touring connections, widen their fan bases and nurture lasting relationships.
The overwhelming positive response has the showcase booked out until summer but we are always taking submissions from established performers/song crafters and regional/national touring artists looking for a built in fan base.
