An evening of scandalous headlines and marvelous melodies! Judy Garland, Bette Davis, Lucille Ball & Betty Hutton. Four unforgettable women of Hollywood. Four trailblazers who refused to be just another ingenue during the Golden Age of Hollywood cinema. Fresh from its second UK Tour, Rebecca Perry looks at the lives of the ladies who broke convention and started something bigger, perhaps, than even they knew.
Since its inception for the 2016 Next Stage Theatre Festival, From Judy to Bette has toured around Ontario, gone to the East Coast, and toured the UK twice. Perry is excited to be bringing the new, full-length version of the show back home to Toronto this March.
