Man On Land CD release
Man On Land (bassist Greg LoughMAN, drummer Austin McMahON, pianist Brian FriedLAND)is a collectively led trio playing original music which places a great emphasis on melody, narrative, atmosphere, and interaction, seamlessly blending together their distinct compositional voices. Original songs like Northwest Passage, Listen, and Praise Be The Mammal display these values, evoking a range of mysterious, contemplative, and humorous moods. The versatility and imagination of their live performances have created a loyal following in the Boston area throughout a decade of active performances. Individually, Brian, Greg, and Austin play with a wide swath of renowned Boston artists and can be heard on dozens of recordings. Special guests Kathy Olson (bari sax) and Randy Pingrey (trombone) will be opening the show.
