JSB Cantata 182 and Dixit Dominus settings by Monteverdi and Handel
The Kentucky Bach Choir presents J. S. Bach's Palm Sunday cantata "Himmelskönig, sei willkommen".
They will be joined by the University of Kentucky Chorale to perform two settings of "Dixit Dominus" one by G. F. Handel and one by Claudio Monteverdi from his Vespers.
The concert will feature soloists and chamber orchestra.
Marlon Hurst, Artistic Director of the Kentucky Bach Choir and Dr. Jefferson Johnson, conductor of the UK Chorale will co-conduct the concert.
