LISA VIGGIANO SINGS BRUCE ON SECOND AVENUE: a tribute to the artistry of the legendary Bruce Springsteen. Join Lisa Viggiano, Broadway World Award winning artist, for an evening of music and stories celebrating the artistry of the legendary Bruce Springsteen. As a pick of the week for Bistro Awards Online, Roy Sanders shares: "As a songwriter, Springsteen is a combination of musician, poet, and storyteller; Viggiano handles all three elements masterfully."
Viggiano will be joined by Musical Director, Matt Scharfglass, on acoustic guitar. Tanya Moberly directs.Critics have hailed Lisa Viggiano as sublime, smashing, invigorating, smart, a powerhouse! Viggiano is a Broadway World winner for best Female Vocalist and multiple-time MAC nominee.
Coast to coast, Lisa's performances have ranged from cabaret stages such as NYC's Feinsteins/54Below & LA's Gardenia to the theatrical stages of San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts and Herbst Theatre. Viggiano has also been seen performing the National Anthem for NY sports teams such as the Mets, the Nets, and the Rangers.
By day, Viggiano uses her voice as a speech-language pathologist for special needs students, helping them to find their voices!
