LATE NITE ART 13: Hub Oakland

DATE: Thursday June 27th
TIME: 7:00 - 10:30pm
LOCATION: HUB Oakland, 1423 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94612
TICKETS: $35-$50 (sliding scale) entrance fee includes the workshop, art supplies, and a three-course menu of delicious local dishes courtesy of Grace Hearth.

ABOUT:  Our theme this month is "HUB Oakland." We will be focusing on the city of Oakland as a HUB for creativity, innovation, and collaboration. How can we build bridges and become more connected in the Bay Area? What unique gifts do you have to share? What support do you need to lift your dreams off the ground?

LATE NITE ART it is an evening of collaborative art-making, ambient music, to-die-for food and insightful discussion. In a few words, it's a social art experience. LATE NITE ART is a facilitated workshop that encourages you to work in free form.  At LATE NITE ART 13 you can expect to meet inspiring people from across the Bay Area, share revolutionary ideas, swirl around some tasty beverages in your mouth, and treat your taste buds to some delicious vegetarian food. LATE NITE ART is an open platform for all non-artists and artists alike to come together. You don't need to be able to color within the lines or draw portraits of fruit bowls - you just need eyes, ears, and an open mind.

MENU:

Mingler: charred sweet corn, basil/cilantro pesto and grilled burrata cheese crostini

Salad: kohlrabi, fennel and blueberry salad with a ginger almond dressing

Main: Edison Grainery Quinoa Scallion Fritters with Smashed Rosemary Garlic Yukon Golds

Dessert: Gauchito Hills Blenheim Apricot Bourbon Upside Down Cake

Given that we can only accommodate a maximum of 40 people, we require your confirmation in advance to guarantee you a seat.

We ask you to respect the time frame allotted for the event - 7.00PM - 10.30PM. This is an immersive experience that begins and ends with the same amount of people: no tardies and no early departees!
