New York State Ballet presents Gershwin and Gatsby
Join in the splendor and decadence of the Roaring 20's with "Gershwin and Gatsby"! This lively, vibrant ballet is set to George Gershwin's classic music from an era steeped in champagne and jazz. The New York State Ballet is grateful to once again be accompanied by Music Director Jared Chase, this time leading a jazz band and vocalists through the saucy turn of the century pieces that set this production on fire. So break out your red lipstick and best kitten heels, brush up on your Charleston, and join the New York State Ballet, Gatsby, and Daisy for a night to remember! And keep the night rollicking after the show - join the Company members and the creative team behind this hotsy-totsy ballet at a champagne reception following each performance.
