Danny Barnes and Jon Neufeld
As a Texas native and one of bluegrass musics most distinctive and innovative performers, Barnes is known for blending together different sounds in order to defy labeling. His desire to pick up the banjo stemmed from a Grandpa Jones and Stringbean concert he attended as a child. Moved by the performance, Barnes was first inspired to learn how to play the banjo at age ten. He continued his musical endeavors at the University of Texas, where he focused his studies on audio production and discovered his passion for recording music.

Jon Neufeld is an American musician. He plays with the bands Jackstraw, Kung Pao Chickens and, he also is a mastering engineer as well as a producer. He also plays with singer-songwriters Martha Scanlan and Garrett Brennan.
Jon Neufeld is best known for his versatile guitar playing. As Dan Miller of Flat picking Guitar Magazine wrote, Jon Neufeld is one of those guitar players that defies any type of categorization or description of style because he can do it all. Hence his range from bluegrass to jazz, folk to rock. Jon was born on the south side of Chicago, Illinois and has lived in Portland, Oregon since 1997.
