Okapi Presents: Anecdotal Confrontations with Reality
OKAPI is a duo utilizing upright bass, cello, and voice through aggressive (yet intimate) orchestrations, which carry messages encouraging individual empowerment, healthy growth, and the conscious confrontation with reality. Each musical piece plays an integral role within their conceptual mosaic, and will be introduced with a spoken anecdote to initially set the scene. The performance will then guide you along the song story path, before entering the cerebral depths within.
