NYC Jazz Guitar Festival 2019
The NYC Jazz Guitar Festival 2019 is the fourth installation of this great 3 day event featuring a consortium of some of the worlds finest jazz guitarists performing and celebrating this wonderful music. The dates are Thursday February 21st, Friday Feb. 22nd and Saturday Feb. 23rd.
In 2010, 2012 and 2015 the festival was held at Zebs, a studio/performance space in Chelsea, Manhattan. Guitarist, composer, producer and founder Saul Zebulon Rubin hosted performances and recordings by many of the worlds finest musicians over a seven year period. The building was sold in 2016 and torn down. Zebs is closed but the festival continues at the 75 Club a beautiful space in the heart of Tribeca. The energy created by this amazing music and camaraderie of the players is very rare and extraordinary.
This excellent lineup includes: Peter Bernstein, VIc Juris, Ed Cherry, Paul Bollenback, Pasquale Grasso, Ilya Lushtak, John Merrill, Ron Affif and Saul Rubin. These players are very active on the New York jazz scene and international scene as well. There will be also special surprise guests. If you are a jazz lover, especially jazz guitar you should not miss this opportunity. Save money and buy tickets here online and save 25% off the door price.
