Nexmap presents Binary Cities #5: San Francisco - Zurich
NEXMAP has been presenting Binary Cities events in San Francisco for the past two years, bringing together artists form different countries to perform together with artists in the Bay Area. Binary Cities #5 features four Bay Area media artists and an improviser from Swizerland in an evening of two premieres. Sonogram and Sonic Forecast both integrate live video, live music and electronics in an evocative interplay that is at once political and poetic.
Sonami and Sue C have been creating unique works together for several years, this new work is a definite event not to be missed. Bouchard, Maurette and Hug have been collaborating for the past year on their Sonic Forecast, This is a world premiere appearance of Charlotte Hug in San Francisco.
